I get why some people probably love this virtuoso exhibition of physical comedy by Peter Sellers, but not only is it super racist, I think it should be re-titled “Social Anxiety: The Movie.”

BLAZING SADDLES (1974)

Mel Brooks takes a western pastiche and pushes the boundaries of comedy about racism. Oh, and it’s super funny.

SPARTACUS (1960)

As epics of Roman battles go, Spartacus is the thinking-man’s version. It also helped break the Hollywood Blacklist.
