The Coen Brothers’ masterpiece of a modern noir set against the snowbound niceness of the Upper Midwest in winter.
ALMOST FAMOUS (2000)
This comedy/drama about a teenage Rolling Stone writer hanging out with a 1970s rock band is probably the 2000 movie I’ve watched the greatest number of times.
RAISING ARIZONA (1987)
A live action cartoon from the Coen Brothers about Nicolas Cage kidnapping babies, but for love. A personal favorite.
